Just to be clear... Out of the box, the Controller can set up the Receiver to be a wireless-to-ethernet bridge, but the way it's configured out of the box is with a specially configured ad-hoc network with a randomly generated private WEP128 key. It's not really that usable yet as a general purpose bridge.
That said, in theory, it should be able to be configured with the configuration tool that Robin Bowes is working on to do just that. It's just a small matter of software. :) -dean On Feb 6, 2008, at 5:34 PM, radish wrote: > > It's also worth pointing out (for the record) that this isn't a new > feature, all the current models will do this. > > > -- > radish > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > -- > radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 > View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43175 > > _______________________________________________ > jive mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
