Right - looks like we have exactly the same issue. It's at just one location, a small patch a few mm across about half way down and 1cm from the right hand edge of the display. Touching the screen elsewhere doesn't cause the effect, so maybe there's some component underneath the display at that location which is imparting a slight force on it?
