After wondering why others got the production controller, well - mine finally arrived today!
I've got to hand it to UPS, they run a tight ship over there. The shipments of the beta controller and SBR came without charge, but this one they finally came to their senses and charged me $6.52 tax. Nice job UPS! 3 packages, same company, all clearly marked "sample", in fact this one was marked "Engineering sample, no commercial value" - and they charge me tax. Great work! Now I suppose $6.52 isn't a bad price to pay for a $299 SBC (heh) but I'll dispute it with UPS all the same, because I didn't pay anything for it, and tax on $0 is...$0. But anyway - to the point, although I haven't powered up the SBC yet (I have to swap the battery from the beta unit and charge it) I don't have the slight hitch in the wheel clive has. We'll see if I have the screen issue and we'll see if the wifi reception is better once I play with it.
