It sounds like your problem is that you are running two subnets which  
makes setup of Duet difficult.

Consider setting up WGT624 as a wireless access point and not as a  
router.  (This is usually pretty easy, you disable the DHCP server  
and configure it to connect via  one of its LAN ports to a LAN port  
on the WPN824.)

Then with only one subnet, you don't have to worry about devices on  
your network not being able to see each other.  This is how I have my  
home network set up, though with different model routers.
