Richard, By disabling DHCP, I was able to force Jive into going through the steps to assign a static IP, but it stopped at the DNS server entry which I'm guessing would be close to the end of setup.
Should I log a bug about not being able to assign a static IP to a Reciever. I guess I can live with the initial Automagic setp which get's an IP using DHCP, then assign a static IP once the box is on the network, but what happens in the rare cases where there's no DHCP server? Also when Jive finishes configuring the Receiver and it goes to the "Connect to Music Source" screen, it takes it a long time to detect the local SC7 instance and just displays SqueezeNetwork.
