Here is another idea for slightly more intelligent sleeping - currently
the Controller starts the countdown to sleep since the last activity
key press/movement, yes? It's effective, but i can see times when it's
going to cause a slight annoyance (parties etc). Should the state of
the currently selected player not also be a factor? I.e. if the player
is playing music, surely it should be expected that we will want to use
the remote again in the near future.

So what i would like to see is;

-No music playing/SB off + No controller activity for 1 hour =
Controller sleep.

Music playing/SB active + No controller activity for 1 hour = wait ten
mins until after music stops then sleep.
-

Make sense? It should all be user configurable too, because power usage
is different for each individual persons user habits.

BTW, used my remote of about 45 mins last night and left it out of the
dock all night - full battery indicator this morning. Great stuff, i
really can use this device for mutli room roaming without fear of being
away from the dock now. Plus i can leave it when i fall asleep and not
have to worry about taking downstairs to charge. Very happy.
