What happens is that the Controller's wireless icon will turn red (which I believe means that it's lost its wireless connection). However, it still seems to work fine - you can browse the music library, play/pause/skip tracks, etc. But the icon stays red.
If you then go to Settings > Advanced > Wireless Network, it just spins on the "Finding Networks" screen forever, although you can back out by holding down the Back button. Also, for some reason Settings > Advanced > About fails to work when the icon is red. At this stage, the Controller can be shut down, but it refuses to switch back on using the Home/Power button. You have to pull & reinsert the battery before it'll boot up again. I've definitely seen this on r2085 and one or two earlier firmwares, but I don't think it's happened since updating to r2090. -- cliveb Transporter -> ATC SCM100A ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cliveb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=348 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44078 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
