My understanding is that r2097 was released in order to fix a memory leak in album artwork cacheing. What I've noticed is that whereas previous firmwares appeared to keep all artwork they had ever downloaded, it seems that r2097 discards artwork sometimes. Is this how the memory leak was fixed? (In other words, rather than the problem being a memory leak as such, it was simply running out of memory and the fix is to discard artwork to prevent that happening?)
