Hi Folks I spent a day or two hacking SqueezeOS and now have a working lirc port for the controller. I can do things like:
irsend SEND_ONCE Panasonic_EUR7702KF0 TUNER-BAND and my AMP switches to the radio input, irsend SEND_ONCE Panasonic_EUR7702KF0 Volume- and the volume goes down, etc... It required hacking together a new kernel module, lirc_jive based on a merge of lirc_serial and jive_irtx. After a few teething troubles, it actually sent valid IR codes on the first try... This probably means it is badly broken in some nasty way i've yet to discover... What i need now is some help from somebody who knows poky and can help me get this integrated into the normal build. At the same time maybe we should get the poky version of lirc brought up to date.
