Thanks for the pointers. It's going to take me a bit to get through this, as this is new ground for me. I had kind of figured that a plug-in would be appropriate, but there's not much documentation that I could find about plugins, just the code. I'm also trying to figure which plugin would be the most appropriate to use as a starting point.
