This is an old one for me neither 7.3 or 7.4 synced properly ;-)
Or any 6.x or 7.x for the record.

The rewrote the sync code. I t has always been so that sync with
hardware player and soft-player have worked for some but not for
others.
But now since they rewrote the code, it works or not works for
*different* people. This have been going on for years, so you was just
lucky that it worked for so long .

It is not easy to do this as logitech has no control over how the OS
and drivers and sound-cards, clock chip on motherboard etc behaves . I'm
not even sure that OS latency is predicable for every start of a new
song ? remember that new sync code can sync hardware players with
gap-less or crossfade playback which in itself is pretty cool.
