Why does a multi-frame xyz file load up showing all models at once in jmol if
animation is not running initially? Is there some flag that will make it show
just the first?

About changes.... What's the proper way to reference the archive file?
Should I
be pulling this from your site? referencing that site in the archive=
parameter?
archive refers to the location of your JmolApplet.jar, which *must* be on
the same web server as the .html page.
I recommend that the 'code' parameter always say:
code="JmolApplet.jar"
and that 'archive' say:
archive="/my/path/to/Jmol.jar"
one should never use http://web.server.name/ in either of these parameters.
OK, I see how to do the animation. On the version I have palindrome works.
I'll see if I can't convert that IR page.
Yes ... it was working when I released v10pre10
Q: I remember setting up these animations. The animated XYZ files have an
odd
beginning--one or two frames that don't seem to go in the right order. Is
this
intentional? What's the story on this?
Nothing intentional. I have not seen this behavior.
Some of the multi-frame .xyz files that come in the Jmol samples seem to
be of poor quality.
Step through frame by frame and see what it looks like.
frame 1
frame next
frame next
frame next
frame prev
