Sorry, but I don't understand what is the relation between SVN and format: 
IMHO, the code that is committed should be correctly formatted by each 
developer.
Committing code badly formatted and then reformatting the code afterwards is 
not a good thing, because the SVN history gets completely cluttered and loose 
much of its interest.
