I NEVER run the formatter, I am against it, see my other mail ;)

I am against it because, in my own experience, you can never configure an
automatic formatter to do it entirely the way you want.
The automatic formatter can be an help when you type code, but not to reformat
existing code.

I am also against this because we should only commit code that is correctly
formatted.
When we are debugging code, if the SVN history contains versions that are only
here because the code has been reformatted, it becomes impossible to track down
modifications.

I only use the semi-automatic part: when I am typing a new line, the
indentation is automatically done; but I don't want to use the fully automatic
function.

We should keep discussing this.
