I'm sorry to report that even with a freshly opened Safari there is now a problem. When I click on the first atom. the coordinate row turns red, but a second click has no effect. It works fine in Netscape.

This sounds a bit like an issue I once had where the commands from one page were acting on a completely different page. I remember pointing that out, but I don't recall any resolution. This iteration of view.htm tries to adjust for that by assigning a random value to the applet ID.
