| OK. Obviously your hours are different from mine:-) Just to give you a thorough observation. I am using Safari on a 500 MHz (old) G4 Mac. But I observe the same thing on my office Intel imac. I am using Safari with the _javascript_ console turned on. All of the messages appear in that console. I have accessed your documents page at: I have chosen the "atom expressions" example. I get a pop-up window into which a structure loads (1CRN?). The applet itself seems to work -- rotate, contextual menu, etc. Along the right side of the Jmol applet are a series of links. Choosing any one of them gives the following error message in the _javascript_ console. The first link actually produces the error message twice. In every case the line number is 10. Error - java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: If I paste any of the scripts you suggested into the script window, I get only the first part of the message with no html reference, but a line number reference as line 1: java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: I thought when I copied these errors last night the line numbers came along for the ride. Apparently they do not. Sorry. Hope this helps. Phil On Aug 18, 2006, at 11:00 PM, Bob Hanson wrote:
