No, I absolutely positively require allowRotateSelected. The reason is 
that there is one additional model loaded (not shown in the above for 
brevity). This additional model resembles a surface and I want to rotate 
the structure/charge with respect to that surface (and then save the 
coordinates of the rotated charges).
As I said, the command works perfectly, but only after I enter it in the 
console of the loaded applet.

I enter the command exactly the same way into the console as i have 
written it in the script. Could there be another reason for this not 
working?
