Rose, please, please don't miss them if you can at all help it. I heard the 
group on this current tour and I can guarantee that they will blow your mind 
real good.

A perfect example of a case where even a generally favorable critic gets it 
wrong. The current group retains not only Metheny and Mays, but also my good 
friend and longtime colleague, bassist/co-producer Steve Rodby, now in his 
21st year with Pat. Also, Metheny has used vocals and additional percussion 
in the band for over 20 years. There have always been "rhythmic excursions," 
whatever that means.
