i loved that neil young interview victor..this attitude he has, of reaching
beyond the notes...i think its what make his performances (at least
recently) so incredibly powerful...its something that he is doing internally
that just gets transported into the audience...its not the music per se...it
is something more...going through the wall, that is what he does...i think
that may be why he doesn't do the meet & greet after a show...he's still
over on the other side

This above always made sense to me...music is math (well its much more of
course, but in its basic form, it is math...& architecture is also math...so
when something is built then it becomes a form that in a sense is
frozen...music on the other hand is not...its the other end of the
mathematical spectrum...more mutable, changeable at any moment..still the
relationships are always mathematical...
