I just find it incredible. Tens of millions in this country have lost their jobs, our roads and schools are crumbling, thousands are becoming homeless everyday, babies and children are not getting their proper nutrition, our water is fast becoming unsafe to drink, our air is getting no better, and kids are getting better educational opportunities but developing narrower views. Are we not the richest nation this world has ever seen??? Why spend most of it towards war efforts? Instead of the old-fashioned tit for tat, Bush should challenge Sadam on a more humanitarian level and together U.S. and Irag try to improve conditions for their people. Why not?????? gene ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim L'Hommedieu (Lama)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "_JMDL" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, September 18, 2002 6:37 PM Subject: Iraq NJC
