The only real dud in the show is "A Real Nice Clambake". LOL! Oh come on, Bob! Any song that has the lyrics 'the vittles we et/were good you bet' has to be a classic. And then there's 'jest how many of 'em galloped down our gullets/we couldn't say ourselves, ooohhoohhohhh this was a real nice clambake - etcetera etcetera and so forth! (oops! that's 'The King and I'!)
I too love the music from 'Carousel'. Although I've never heard the Broadway cast album I do have the soundtrack. Gordon McCrae & Shirley Jones weren't bad at all. Mark E in Seattle
