Randy just doesn't pound those rhythms out like Ben & Elton. Plus...listen to Folds' "Zak & Sara" & then listen to Elton's "Teacher I Need You" and you'll see my point. Ultimately, Ben's his own thing which is what makes him so cool. And to hear him "conduct" the audience to become the human horn section for "Army" is one of the musical highlights of the year for me. It's GOT to be very rewarding to know that your songs have been so fully absorbed by the audience... <<I'm even gonna spring for concert tickets - of course, that's really because Jackson Browne is the opening act- but I'm looking forward to the show.>> And I'll bet it rocks! Petty's band is rock solid, and he has so much back catalogue that it's guaranteed to be great, and to see Jackson as well is icing on the cake!
