now me: 

she must not have told either student loans or welfare that she was receiving 
both..and then she got caught. the system is not fair.  How is one to get ahead if 
they cant even afford to live decently let alone go to school in order to hopefully 
gain a good job , become self sufficient, which is impossible to do on the money 
'granted' from welfare or student loans. there is a high price to pay as demonstrated 
in this case. i am sorry to say that post secondary education in canada seems to be 
more of a privilege not a right.
