The pronounciation of clandestine depends entirely on where you are from.
In New Zealand, your pronounciation of the word would be considered
incorrect, and Joni's correct, ie. klan-des-tine, with the pronounciation on
the first syllable, not the second. I'm assuming as a Canadian, she follows
more "English" pronounciations, as do Kiwis and Australians. It doesn't
make one or the other wrong or right, just different.
