What the heck is a Vauxhall? Never heard of it! What
country makes it?

Notice that we Americans didn't bother to note our
fuel mileage? What pigs we are! (My Chevy gets 36-38
mpg on the highway.)

This is important. I have only an AM-FM radio, which
forces me to listen to news or new music (otherwise I
would probably hear neither).

I hesitate to admit this, but I may as well: Mary and
I also have a MINIVAN! A 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan,
bought new, white with about 24,000 miles on it,
luggage rack, tow bar, automatic tranny (ugh), power
everything, cd player (recently replaced the cassette
deck). It's like driving a boat and gets crappy
mileage, but it's nice when traveling and although
it's not as cool-looking as an SUV, it's a lot more
stable. Mary loves it and drives it 50 miles daily.

I drive my Cavalier 6 miles a day (and feel so very
cavalier while doing so).

Don't ask why Mary and I don't trade vehicles and
drive the one more appropriate to the length of our
daily trip ... we've talked about it, but it comes
down to the car we each love to drive.
