On Letterman tonight they had a sketch where a stagehand ate various
peanut butters to test for which was most crunchy and one was so crunchy
it "caused" a "blood vessel" to burst and fake blood gushed all over the
stage;
Dave said, "Blood and peanut butter, my favorite Joni Mitchell album."
It makes no sense - the humor is in the absurdity and the droll way
Letterman drops in the non sequitur (spelling?)...
but that is his second Joni reference in recent time and it certainly
tells us that Dave has Joni on his mind; he must be a fan!
