i think you all overestimate mr. letterman. he made
that original "wasn't that a joni mitchell album"
off-handedly a few weeks ago, like he knew no one
would get it but when paul and the band laughed he was
really pleased with himself. and he had cracked
himself up in the process. now, i think it's his own
inside joke with the band and paul. it was really
funny the first time he said it, though.
speaking of letterman, i somehow managed to score
tickets for this wednesday, so i will be in attendance
at the show! i am so excited. the guests are george
clooney and sade.
