Congratulations, Alison. I lived in NYC for four years and tried to get
Letterman tickets for about two years. When I finally got them, I was sent
away on a shoot and had to give the tickets to a couple of friends. And the
musical guest that night was Lou Reed, who would have been my second choice
-- after Joni, of course. I had to spend the night of that show on a
far-flung tropical island with a whining, spoiled and uncooperative Andre
Agassi, which was no fun at all. Am I bitter? Yes!
