I satnd corrected then. I was under the impression that the beliefs I wrote about were common to all Xtians. I thought that the was basis of the faith. I certainly know that the Xtians I know would not consider people Xtian if they did not believe that Jesus died as payment for our sins, a payment demanded by God. I have to say I have not come across Xtians before who do not believe this. (except, as I said, JW's). So Xtian is a much looser term than I knew. bw colin
