well oh my god stephen, of course my beliefs have changed over time.  and 
they continue to do that.  but my essence as a spiritual being has not 
changed.  

as for converts, i can't speak to that.  this is why i am not an evangelist.  
i don't know what other people need.  and i can't explain why they act as 
they do.  

my only real belief about other people is that we need to be willing to share 
our experience with others and be willing to listen to their experience.  in 
that rests our hope for growth.
