For me, it is not so much whether the man or woman falls under the heading of
"politician" or "personage of the cloth"...it is the ideologies that they put
their energy behind and how they accept responsibility when their actions
fall within their "shadow-self."

I have no gracious feelings whatsoever toward Falwell. In fact, for me,
ewwwww...fits perfectly.

Also, although I would choose even another four years of Clinton over the
next four years with Bush...I turn with disgust that even in the final
negotiated deal that saved him from being indicted...the careful manipulation
of words continued...and Clinton still did not look into the mirror with his
eyes wide open.

I feel that the next four years are really going to need people like Jesse
Jackson to be active and strong. I think that when we directly address
matters, we disarm our attackers and I think that the more we admit our own
humanness the more humane we will be treated in return.

I'm not saying that Jackson's behavior was high energy and worthy of
applause...I just found it interesting that how a person accepts his failures
has such a profound impact on my continued respect. I mean, I am very
pro-woman...and this behavior is anything but...and I'm not crucifying the
guy! Now that's something!
