It was my first breakfast in CSSJ sometime in 1984, complete freshman i was, the housemaster took me himself to the dinning cos i didnt have a table and handed me over to Otong,.. The dinning hall prefect then was Redneck,.. anyway otong told me to go and tap that senior over there and tell him that "redneck, senior otong is calling you". Dinning Hall Prefect, in the Dinning Hall, just as he was about to say the usual "for what we're about to eat'..prayer!!! To cut a long story short,.. till this day, i still cant say for certain what hit me,. it was quick as lightening and had the sound of thunder!! Not that i didnt want to cry,.. something else happened that prevented me,.. i swear i saw real stars,.. and they were big like the sunflowers planted around Tiger House then, i had never known such sensation of pain and joy at once and so i just stood there, a smile on my face!! That same morning as i walked to the Assembly,.. i knew i was in for the adventure of my life and i am grateful for it to this day,.. Trust all of u are laughing real hard by now,.. Cheers DAn Opolo '89Class
