It was my first breakfast in CSSJ sometime in 1984, complete
freshman i was, the housemaster took me himself to the dinning cos i didnt have
a table and handed me over to Otong,.. The dinning hall prefect then was
Redneck,.. anyway otong told me to go and tap that senior over there and tell
him that "redneck, senior otong is calling you". Dinning Hall Prefect, in the
Dinning Hall, just as he was about to say the usual "for what we're about to
eat'..prayer!!!
To cut a long story short,.. till this day, i still cant say for certain what
hit me,. it was quick as lightening and had the sound of thunder!! Not that i
didnt want to cry,.. something else happened that prevented me,.. i swear i saw
real stars,.. and they were big like the sunflowers planted around Tiger House
then, i had never known such sensation of pain and joy at once and so i just
stood there, a smile on my face!! That same morning as i walked to the
Assembly,.. i knew i was in for the adventure of my life and i am grateful for
it to this day,..
Trust all of u are laughing real hard by now,..
Cheers

Name; John Akadang
30 years back to 1977, i was a young lad now!!! like
adams, a soldiers son (a good one sha oo!!!). after
then, schooled to pry 5 maroon at command children
school ikeja. prior to sitting for command entrance
exams, my popsy drew my ears and told me to put jos as
my choice of command school. As a small good boy, nna
na im i knack JOS as my choice. Well, Baba for heaven
come help me pass the exams + the interview. but B4 i
go say remi harris, na so i see my self for CSSJ. I
was formally baptised into the school on the next
morning when Me and Ibrahim Delia was ordered out to
jump into the quadrangle of Octopus house and CLEAR
GRASS WITH LANGALANGA. Well you know the story
sha....---i will never forget that day---....
Today, i am proud that the experience gotten from CSSJ
has paid off in making me stand up to the many
challenges of the trying times in and away NIJA.
