Here and now one has to step back and repeat the answers to these questions :
1 .what are Browser + JavaScript for ? 2. what is Jquery for ? 3. what is server side for ? The issue is that anyone can upload his/her infantile or brilliant plugin to http://plugins.jquery.com/ ... Now we have a sea of plugins which are not categorized by importance, quality or simillar. We need plugin moderators. We need plugins to be put in three root categopries : A . Essential C. Nice to have D. Experimental (read: bad code) John, I simpatize with you (at least here ;) , there is simply "no time for everything". But someone needs to do this. I think. Otherwise this honourable forum might become (quickly) another "war zone" like ECMA comitee.
