I've got over 1.5 years saved (sure, its 39 mb), but I recently had reason
to be glad.

I was stuck at home (personal reasons) and my internet connection was dead.
A pressing
emergency came up at work. I was able to search my "personal archive" and
find a solution.
Within 15 minutes I'd found the answer (from August '99) and phoned it into
work.

If this was a newslist, or I'd relied on an archive hosted by some generous
site, I'd have not
been able to find the solution.
