I have to agree with Sylvain that you have generated more trash email in one
day than all the off topic questions for the week including this one.
I am normally just a lurker on this list since my main interest is
javascript but even though I can put up with off topic question-- there will
always be off topic questions-- arrogant nastigrams from prima donnas really
burn me up.
You really are a waste of my time. I even have to write this and I hate to
write anything I should not have to write.

This discussion comes back every month.
I don't mind if eventually someone asks a question, that
seems off-topic to
many others. What happens the most often is that so on the
list sends him a
response apart, and explains him that he asked his question
at the wrong
place. If this occurs too often, the guy should be banned
from the list, of
course.
But what *really* pisses me off is to see every month a 50
replies thread
about off topic questions, and how its poster should burn in
hell, etc....
I also think YOU should be banned, because what you're doing
right now is
spam, and pollution of the list
