The Smalltalk User group used to meet at RTI and I can tell you that RTI
requires a staff sponsor to attend each meeting. Hopefully we may have
some RTI people on board. NCSA as well as the Linux Group do meet there.

Another possibility is the EPA Auditorium. The Mac User Group used to meet
there althouhg I see they do nto now so perhaps that has fallen through.

I do not know about IBM but you could email Greg Ackerman
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and ask.

Finally, failing all else I may have a contact at NC State that I could ask
but it is a bit non-central so I assume you may want to try for something
more central first. Perhaps UNC could be possible too.

Regards,

  Don
