I don't believe RTI charges for the room, but we need to have a RTI representative that is associated with TRIJUG. I also am not sure if the Dreyfus auditorium can handle the TRIJUG crowd. TRILUG meetings are usually overflowing too.

How about SAS? Do they offer facilities? I believe we have some SAS employees in TRIJUG that may be able to volunteer as a contact.

The .NET group meets at GSK (down the street from MCNC). I believe they are similar in that some connection between a GSK employee and TRIJUG must be established to use their facility.

Daniel,

Try RTI (Research Triangle Institute) just down the street from MCNC ...
on Cornwallis. The auditorium is sufficiently large ... and I believe the
TriLUG meets there.

Not sure if they charge but you can call and ask.

Subject: [Juglist] Help for Finding a New Place

Dear Trijuggers:

I am asking your help for seeking a new place for our monthly Trijug meeting. Recently we got a letter from MCNC where we hold our meeting, that MCNC increased the room rate (sit down for this stunner) by 300%. Our financial situation couldn't allow us to afford this big jump so that we decided to look for alternative venues.

If you know any place good for Trijug meeting around this area, please let me or any board member know. We appreciate any help from you.

Regards,

Daniel Zhang | Trijug Event Coordinator

P.S. - You can find board member contact information at http://trijug.org/aboutus.jsp.
