How about SAS? Do they offer facilities? I believe we have some SAS employees in TRIJUG that may be able to volunteer as a contact.
The .NET group meets at GSK (down the street from MCNC). I believe they are similar in that some connection between a GSK employee and TRIJUG must be established to use their facility.

Try RTI (Research Triangle Institute) just down the street from MCNC ... on Cornwallis. The auditorium is sufficiently large ... and I believe the TriLUG meets there.

Recently we got a letter from MCNC where we hold our meeting, that MCNC increased the room rate (sit down for this stunner) by 300%. Our financial situation couldn't allow us to afford this big jump so that we decided to look for alternative venues.
