What do you mean by appropriate locking/device encryption? Use lockscreen with a password/pattern on my phone? Use some settings from K-9 or extra security for emails? I have Google Authenticator enabled for all my emails but I created app passwords (both for gmail and hotmail) because apparently authenticators don't work on K-9 so I had to create app passwords to gain access to my emails with K-9. I don't know if it's secure to use app passwords.
However there is one more problem I have. At hotmails only again. When I try to delete an email, it's just get deleted on my phone, if I will connect to my hotmail with PC or any other device, the email that I deleted from my phone is still there. However if I move the email to a folder, it works fine. It even works fine if I move the email to "Delete" folder.
