--- Comment #4 from Ash <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > Ubuntu and Bazzite are very different operating systems, with very different > kernel and driver versions, so I'm not surprised that the issue manifests > differently between the two. In fact, it sounds like the issue got worse > with newer kernels and drivers! > > I suspect if you install GNOME on Bazzite (or switch to Bazzite's GNOME > edition) you'll experience the same manifestation of the issue that you see > in Plasma. Well my problems in Plasma persisted through 3 different Linux distributions: CachyOS, Kubuntu and Bazzite so even though they have different bases CachyOS being Arch based, Kubuntu being Ubuntu based and Bazzite being Fedora based the issue still happened the same with KDE Plasma DE through all 3 of them. I can try running Bazzite with the Gnome DE through the LiveCD and see if the sound issues are the same as I have on Plasma however I suspect it'll be closer to what I experience on Ubuntu. Also note I have tried using programs like PAVU (PulseAudio Volume Control) to try to adjust master volume levels and see if there is any remedy for it, however literally any option or control I touch in PAVU makes my volume jump well over 100% and continually makes it even louder. Which makes me worried for my laptop because damage caused by the user or OS is not covered by the warranty so using programs or similar applications is out of the question for now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
