I find that I am unable to interact at all with any desktop items unless: If it is a window, I can focus it by selecting its icon in the task bar. Then I can interact with it until I click the desktop. I can interact with the desktop if I click the "Peek at Desktop" button on the far right of the task bar. That works until an application window is opened. I notices this the first time yesterday, 08/21/2026.
