This is not necessarily true, as notifications are disabled by default during
screen sharing. Also, I'm all for innovation, but changing the highlight colour
or moving screen elements around would require support from other UI frameworks
as well (and likely end up being ignored by most), and in the case of external
copy operations (e.g. through KDE Connect) there's no UI element to highlight
at all. 

Meanwhile, an OSD or notification works regardless of the source of the
clipboard content.
