It only affects the Places page, the entries on the Applications page are unaffected. I didn't have kicker debugging on, but I'm getting a lot of log spam like this: kf.config.core: Created a KConfigGroup on an inaccessible config location "/" "Desktop Entry" kf.service.services: The desktop entry file "/" does not have a "Type=Application" set.
