No, the Kepler license is not the same the MIT license. Specifically, the Kepler license added: " Kepler is not in the public domain and the Kepler Project keep its copyright." Which is the cause for all of my questions. Kepler is not in the public domain and the Kepler Project keep its copyright. The legal details are below.
