Hi,

Personally, I don't think this is a good idea. My mother tongue is
also not English (I'm Belgian), but English is a language that is
at least understood for the majority of (engineering) people on this
planet.

I'm afraid things will diverge into different directions and in the
end this newsgroup will be a big collection of small groups, one not
being able to understand what the other says.
It's important that info, help, solutions, added values,... are shared
among as much as possible of us, KiCad users.

I'm also subscribed on the newsgroup of FoxBoard (an embedded-based
Linux PCB). FoxBoard is an Italian product (www.acmesystems.it), but
there newsgroup (also here on the Yahoo site) is based on the English
language, for reasons mentioned above.

Pls. keep this in mind.

BTW: if KiCad, which is originally a French product, would not have
been translated into the English language, I don't think it would have
had the
exposure like it has it now. Although French is not a problem for me...
