The emphasis seems to be on plotting a Gerber file. Then if you want
to print to say a laser printer (which I would argue is *very* useful
for prototyping using toner transfer so why not have it print
accurately straight from the PCB app??? - but I digress) you can print
from the Gerber viewer utility.

I'm happy to stand corrected...
