The plot comes out correct when using the Gerber file. Remember that the drill 
holes have nothing to do with the Gerber file. The drill tape or nowadays - 
file, goes to the drill/router in the production line. Not the Gerber photo 
plotter.

My down loaded KiCad generates 100% pukka Gerber files for production purposes 
as well as drill file.

If KiCad generates weird output, my guess ( sorry! ) is that someone told it 
to...

No printouts, HP or PS are a substitute for the Gerber file and drill/routing 
file.
