Gent's, The plot comes out correct when using the Gerber file. Remember that the drill holes have nothing to do with the Gerber file. The drill tape or nowadays - file, goes to the drill/router in the production line. Not the Gerber photo plotter.
My down loaded KiCad generates 100% pukka Gerber files for production purposes as well as drill file. If KiCad generates weird output, my guess ( sorry! ) is that someone told it to... No printouts, HP or PS are a substitute for the Gerber file and drill/routing file. //Dan, M0DFI On Friday 31 October 2008 16:11:40 Alain M. wrote: > well, that sounds like a real bug... > > But have you tried to generate the Gerber files and print them? > > Alain > > NdK escreveu: > > yajeed2000 ha scritto: > >>> From some testing I just did, it seems that text is shifted 13 mils to > >>> the left (pads are at the correct coords in gerbview, text is not)). > > > > Note the "text is not"! > > > >> Try plotting to a postscript file and then open each file with > >> ghostscript viewer.
