I seem to especially skillful at finding/creating odd situations.

That's a bit odd, because when I create a small amount of tracking that
needs to be duplicated, it can end up with odd nets on the tracks. 
When I copy the tracks and attach them to the part of the board than
needs them they pick up the correct nets.
