Hi By experince with KiCad do you mean you want to transfer the kicad brd file directly ?
I have got some pcbs made with GoldPhoneix from China, designed with Kicad. They were good. But I sent the gerber files created with Kicad, not the kicad .brd files. Anyway gerber is much safer and standard way for sending job to pcb houses i think.
