That one had me going for a long time. I didn't realize that little square next
to the slider was actually clickable.
Once you have made a material, you can also have the Outliner window visible.
Select some faces, or objects (no need to select the "faces" icon on top for 2D
selections), and right-click on the material in the "Outliner" window, choose
"Assign to selection".
One question though: How do you get text on something in wings3D? Other than UV
mapping bitmaps (haven't done that yet) or actually making 3D letters I mean.
